Technology practice

Engineering as counsel.

We advise institutions whose technology is consequential — those for whom the cost of a wrong call is not a sprint but a decade. Our work is upstream of the roadmap.

What we work on
— 01 —

Digital transformation

We advise on transformation programmes that survive their own steering committees — emphasizing the few decisions that will not be reversible, and the many that will.

— 02 —

AI & data adoption

We help leadership teams form a posture toward artificial intelligence that is neither defensive nor performative — and that survives the next product cycle.

— 03 —

Privacy & regulatory posture

Including readiness work for India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act and analogous regimes. The point is not the audit; the point is the operating posture beneath it.

— 04 —

Platform modernization

We work with engineering leadership on the order in which a stack should be re-laid — and, more often, the order in which it should not be.

How an engagement begins
A single question, asked carefully.

An engagement begins with a conversation in which we listen more than we speak. We are interested in the question behind the question — the call that already has shape but not yet language.

If the work is right for us, we propose a small, scoped first phase. We rarely sell programmes. The programmes, when they come, follow.

We work alongside, not in place of, the leaders who carry the call. We do not staff the bench.

Engagements by introduction

Mechi takes on a small number of new engagements each year. Write to us with the question you would like to discuss.
